Min Gyi Nyo Lobby Lounge

Guests are welcomed to hotel at the Min Gyi Nyo lobby by grand statues of King Min Gyi Nyo, founder of the great Kaytumadi dynasty, and his son, Tabin Shwe Htee at the entrance. The impressive open-air teak structure with traditional tiered roofs typical of the royal period makes a wonderful first impression and the area is decorated with antiques and replicas of ancient architectural features.

Tabin Shwe Htee Restaurant

Named after the king whose military conquests assembled the largest kingdom in Myanmar since the fall of Bagan, this cozy and relaxed restaurant serves guests an array of food and beverages to impress and delight throughout their stay. The experienced chefs can prepare a variety of Myanmar, Chinese, Thai and European dishes. The well-stocked bar provides a delectable range of refreshing juices, spirits, and beers to help revitalize guests after a day in Taungoo, as well as offering an ample range of local and imported wines.

Ba Yint Naung Ballroom

Guests approaching the King Bayint Naung ballroom are greeted by a mighty 18-foot-high statue of the king who is said to have assembled the largest empire in the history of Southeast Asia. The 737 sqm ballroom, located in a separate building over 1.5 levels, can cater for up to 600 guests and is decorated with a number of inspirational oil paintings. The guest receiving hall, VIP room, and two dressing rooms make it the ideal setting for a bride and groom to celebrate their special wedding occasion. Boasting the latest audio and visual equipment and a team of dedicated staff, this ballroom also makes a perfect conference venue.

Nat Shin Naung Recreation Zone

The Nat Shin Naung recreation centre, named after a notable poet, accomplished musician, and capable royal military commander, boasts a large swimming pool that overlooks the lake. Additionally, it has a gym equipped with modern exercise equipment. Antique Boat Collection

As an ode to the unique past of Taungoo, Royal Kaytumadi Hotel has preserved and displayed a unique collection of 500-year old boats, each one carved from single tree. The historic boats played a significant role during the Taungoo Dynasty with the kingdom being surrounded on all sides by the Sittaung, Paunglong and Kabaung rivers and played vital roles in commercial trade, transportation and naval operations.
